The genuinely free boards

• TruckSmarter — full load board, genuinely free, no trial clock. Best all-around free option.
• Trulos — no login required. Quick scans.
• LoadLadder — free dispatcher desk for up to 3 trucks, no card required.
• Doft / NextLoad / FreightFinder — free tiers, worth a look for backhaul hunting.

Free tiers of the big names

• DAT — free tier exists; the paid tiers ($59–$259/mo) buy lane-rate data and volume. Trial needs a credit card.
• Truckstop — free tier; paid unlocks the real volume.
• 123Loadboard — free tier for light use.

Free broker apps (register once per broker)

J.B. Hunt 360, Uber Freight, RXO Drive, CoyoteGO, C.H. Robinson Navisphere, Convoy, Schneider FreightPower, Amazon Relay. These are direct freight from the broker's own network — no middleman board. J.B. Hunt 360 even includes free Quick Pay (paid in ≤2 days) and fuel discounts.

The catch behind "free"

Free boards have less volume and zero vetting. Every load still needs the broker check: authority, bond, days-to-pay. Free freight from a scammer costs more than no freight at all.
